Staff Registered Nurse - Part-Time

Description:
The Staff RN will provide medical services and provision of patient counseling in our women's place medical clinic(s). RN collaborates with Clinic Manager in regard to patient assessments and patient scheduling. Increases knowledge of management, obstetrical and gynecological care, and women’s health issues on an annual basis. Meet with the patients and review patient instructions, medical history and explain to the patient the purpose of the medical consent prior to the sonogram, STI testing and well woman Annual exams. Keep up monthly medical supply inventory, requesting supplies needed in a timely basis. Follow-up with at risk clients. Meets with patients who desire STI testing. Oversee STI testing, results and treatment appointments. Responsible for sending specimens to CDD and tracking patient outcome and coordinate treatment with medical provider. Supports Physician/PA/ARNP services when on site. Handles all blood borne pathogens per policies.

Qualifications:
Holds a current license in good standing with the Florida Board of Registered Nursing. Has a current CPR certificate. Two years of nursing experience and some Ob/Gyn nursing experience preferred. Demonstrates competent knowledge of the care for obstetrical and gynecological clients and women’s health issues. Expresses sincere desire to reach out to women in crisis pregnancies, especially to those who are abortion-vulnerable and abortion-minded. Maintains a consistent life-affirming philosophy.
